Agung Podomoro, Property Developer Owned By The Conglomerate Trihatma Haliman, Profits Drop Nearly 50 Percent In The First Quarter Of 2021

JAKARTA. PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) posted an unsatisfactory performance in the first three months of this year. The owner of Central Park Jakarta recorded a decrease in revenue and net profit in the first quarter of 2021.

In Agung Podomoro Land's financial report, quoted on Tuesday, July 20, the company owned by conglomerate Trihatma Haliman posted sales and operating revenues of IDR 485 billion. This number was recorded to have fallen 63.3 percent compared to the same period in 2020 which reached IDR 1.32 trillion.

Agung Podomoro Land also recorded a 66.2 percent decline in gross profit to IDR 185 billion from the previous IDR 548 billion in the first quarter of 2020.

APLN also posted a comprehensive profit for the current period attributable to owners of the parent entity of IDR299 billion in the first quarter of 2021. This achievement fell 47 percent from the acquisition in the same period in 2020 of IDR 568 billion.

However, APLN recorded an increase in total liabilities of around 2.2 percent to IDR 19.5 trillion from the previous IDR 19 trillion. These liabilities consist of current liabilities of IDR 6.21 trillion and long-term liabilities of IDR 13.2 trillion.

Meanwhile, the total equity attributable to owners of the parent entity was IDR 8.2 trillion from the previous IDR 8.54 trillion in the first quarter of 2020.
