Pontianak Government Frees Food Shopping Postage During Emergency PPKM, Enthusiastic Residents
JAKARTA - Residents of Pontianak City and its surroundings are enthusiastic about taking advantage of online food shopping with free shipping from the West Kalimantan Provincial Food Security Service during the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).
"The enthusiasm of the community is very high and we continue to serve so that the community can be assisted during Emergency PPKM", said Head of West Kalimantan Food Disket, Heronimus Hero in Pontianak, Saturday, as quoted by Antara.
He explained that the program has been running from July 13 to 19, 2021, in terms of safe stock. According to him, so far the average order per day is around 200 packages.
"If 1 package represents 1 family, it means that there are 200 families who will benefit from this service in one day. It means that around 800 people will feel the benefits on the first day if 1 family has 4 people", he said
He explained that initially, his party wanted to do a cheap market. However, due to the implementation of emergency PPKM in Pontianak City, it has introduced service innovations that are adapted to current conditions, namely through online shopping.
He explained that for the purchase process, people only need to contact the telephone number provided. Currently, his party is in the process of purchasing, including delivery from Mitra Tani Market to the community in collaboration with Bujang Couriers.
"We are currently collaborating with Bujang Courier, which is a service start-up between Pontianak local goods. Order directly with Bujang Courier at 081360059900 or with Mitra Tani Market at 082351977087", he explained.

This is also in line with its main goal, of course, to make it easier for the community to meet basic food items at affordable prices during the implementation of emergency PPKM.
"People get prices below market prices. The types of food available are by the brochures that have been distributed or delivered to the public. To prevent the product from being misused and to reach more people who need it, the maximum number of purchases is limited. The complete package is according to the brochure, but the public can choose between the existing packages", he said.
The pagan products provided and their prices include premium rice at IDR 10,000 per kilogram, medium rice at IDR 8,800 per kilogram, granulated sugar at IDR 11,000 per kilogram, chicken eggs at IDR 24,000 per kilogram, cooking oil at IDR 12,500 per kilogram, shallots.
