Victims Of Mutilation In Sukoharjo Turned Out To Be Solo Residents
JATENG Joint Officers from the Sukoharjo Police and the Central Java Police continue to work hard to uncover cases of the discovery of a number of pieces of human bodies in Sukoharjo and Surakarta. The remains are suspected of being victims of murder and mutilation.
This was conveyed by the Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol Iqbal Alqudusy, in a written statement, Sunday, May 28.
"Currently investigators from the Sukoharjo Police are backed up by the Central Java Police Ditreskrimum are still working hard to uncover the alleged murder and mutilation case," he said.
Previously, it was reported that six pieces of the corpse were found on the edge of the river in the Sukoharjo and Surakarta areas.
The first piece in the form of a left leg was found by residents on Sunday, May 21, at 11.30 WIB on the banks of the Bengawan Solo river, Palur Mojolaban Sukoharjo. One hour later residents again found a second piece in the form of a human body in the Jenes river under the Kampung Waringin Rejo Bridge, Kec. Grogol Sukoharjo.
On the same day at 17.30 WIB, a human head cut was found on the banks of the Mojo river, Kliwon Market, Surakarta. At 19.00 WIB, pieces of the body in the form of left hands were again found by residents and officers who conducted a sweep not far from the location of the second discovery.
The next day (Monday, May 22) at around 06.30 WIB, residents found pieces of their right hand flowed by the Jenes river in Kec. Serengan, Solo.
The Sukoharjo Police Rapid Action was immediately led by the Sukoharjo Police Chief Akbp Sigit and the Surakarta Police Chief led by Kombes Iwan Saktiadi Police in the back up of the Central Java Police Ditreskrimum. The joint team collaborated with Inafis and the Central Java Police Dokkes Bid Team led by Doctor Sumy Hastry involving the Central Java Police Labfor conducted TKP, identification and Autopsy processes on the findings of dismembered body parts.
The pieces of the body were then taken to Dr. Moewardi Hospital, Solo for an autopsy and forensic examination led directly by the Head of the Health Office, Kombes Pol Sumy Hastry Purwanti as Head of the Central Java Police DVI Team.
From the autopsy results, the body parts found were one body of a corpse's limbs, which were known to be male aged around 40-50 years. For the victim's characteristics, there are tattoos on the upper right arm and right back with a dragon image.
The victim's body also had scars from the violence of sharp objects on the head that caused severe bleeding. This is suspected to be the cause of death of the victim before being mutilated and drowned.
"The results of the autopsy concluded the cause of death of sharp violence in the upper head," said Iqbal.
The identity of the victim began to be revealed when officers conducted an examination of Daktiloscopy on the middle fingerprint. As a result, 70 percent were identified as fingerprints belonging to the victim with the initials R aged 50 years. Officers also examined blood samples taken from the victim's family for updating the identification results.
"The results of the inspection are also reinforced by other evidence in the form of Dragon Image Photos on the right upper arm obtained from the investigation of opsnal members. From the results of CSI, the National Police concluded that the victim was an "R" of a resident of Keprabon Wetan Banjarsari, Solo," said Iqbal.
The handling of the case is based on the loss report received by the Sukoharjo Police. Until now, officers have also examined 21 witnesses.
"The National Police in uncovering this case uses the Scientific Crime Investigation method so that this case can be revealed based on the evidence that can be accounted for," said Iqbal.
He said that the participation of the community and the media was very helpful in strengthening information and as a satisfaction.
"God willing, not for a long time everything will be revealed," concluded Iqbal.
