Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson Calls Ethereum Classic (ETC) Scam
JAKARTA Cardano boss Charles Hoskinson, who is one of the former founders of Ethereum, made his controversial statement against Ethereum Classic (ETC).
Hoskinson calls ETC a scam or scam project that sells false hopes to its users. The statement is part of his attitude in rejecting ETC Cooperative to invite Ergo (ERG) in a meeting related to Proof-of-Work held by ETC Cooperative and Litecoin Findation.
Bob Summerville as Director of ETC Cooperative will maintain his networkput by quoting the two blockchains as having a historic relationship.
On the other hand, the ETC community still harbors hatred for Ergo after Hoskinson changed his previous Twitter account, with more than 600,000 followers, to the Proof-of-Work network rival account last year. At that time, Hoskinson described the ETC as a goalless dead project and other reasons to exist, except as a form of revenge.

In a tweet on May 19, Hoskinson responded to Ergo's ban by describing the ETC as a project without "plan, innovation, team, or vision," adding that its community was operating with "angry and toxic."
Furthermore, Hoskinon explained that Ergo should be an ETC because it continues to innovate, has goals, ethical leadership, and future financing.
This is not the first time Hoskinson has criticized its rival crypto project. Cardano founders previously described Ethereum (ETH) as "Crypto's California Hotel."
