BMKG:クタ-ヌサドゥア海の波に最大3メートル注意してください

DENPASAR - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Region III Denpasar asked fishermen and marine tourism actors to be aware of the potential for sea waves in the Kuta and Nusa Dua areas, Bali, which are estimated to be up to three meters.

"Be aware of the potential for increased wind speed and sea wave height which can reach two meters or more around the northern and southern waters of Bali," said Head of BMKG Region III Denpasar Cahyo Nugroho as reported by ANTARA, Friday, May 12.

BMKG Region III Denpasar estimates that on May 13-14, 2023, the sea wave height in Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, is estimated to have the potential to reach three meters with sunny and cloudy weather and humidity levels in the range of 80-90 percent.

Meanwhile, in the Kuta area, Badung Regency, it is estimated that the potential for sea waves is 2-2.5 meters with humidity ranges reaching 65 to 90 percent, while the weather is sunny and cloudy.

Meanwhile, Tanah Lot in Tabanan and Sanur Regencies in Denpasar is estimated to have a sea wave height of up to two meters with sunny weather.

In general, BMKG estimates that wind speed in Bali is estimated to be up to 45 kilometers per hour moving from east-southeast.

Meanwhile, the potential sea wave height in the southern waters of Bali is estimated at 1.5-4 meters, the Bali Strait is estimated at 1-3.5 meters and the Lombok Strait is estimated at 0.75-3.5 meters.

The BMKG said that the weather conditions were caused by sea level temperatures ranging from 26-30 degrees Celsius which were warm to increase the potential for evaporation or additional water vapor masses.

In addition, the wet air mass is concentrated from the surface layer to a layer of 850 millibars or 1,500 meters.

With these weather conditions, BMKG estimates that during May 12-14, 2023, the weather in Bali will be cloudy and the potential for light-medium rain will not be evenly distributed in the western and eastern parts of Bali.
