Responding To Badanas Request, Food Station Will Supply Oilita To Modern Retail
JAKARTA - President Director of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya Pamrihadi Wiraryo, received a visit from the Head of the National Food Agency (Bapanas) Arief Prasetyo Adi and General Chair of the Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs Association (Aprindo) Roy N Mandey to a simple packaged cooking oil production facility or Oilita Food Station at Cakung-Cilincing-East Jakarta, Thursday, May 11.
During the visit, Bapanas asked the DKI Jakarta Food BUMD Food Station to participate in supplying oilita to Modern Retail.
According to Arief, one of the tasks of Bapanas is to bring friends upstream and downstream. So that what the Food Station is doing, the downstream is included in Aprindo.
"Aprindo seems ready to absorb the Oilita products produced by the Food Station, but I ask that the price will be maintained at Rp. 14,000 per liter. Then I assigned the Deputy to support the Food Station to get olein at a better price so that the food station margin and modern retailers can be maintained properly," said Arief.
Chairman of Aprindo Roy N Mandey said that his party appreciated the Food Station's efforts to provide sufficient Oilita for the community.
For this good Food Station effort, we as business actors in the downstream sector are very enthusiastic and enthusiastic about collaborating to distribute Oilita. This will be good to ensure price stability for the community because business actors in the downstream sector get affordable oilita. With the hope that the Highest Retail Price (HET) is IDR 14,000 per liter, then the distribution will increase over time according to the existing production capacity," explained Roy.
In the future, Aprindo hopes that the Food Station can provide Oilita at General Trade and Modern Trade to ensure stable prices for basic commodities, especially simple packaged cooking oil for the community.
"This is in accordance with the direction of Badanas so that people get Oilita at an affordable price and do not exceed the HET", he said.

President Director of Food Station Pamrihadi Wiraryo welcomed the potential for this collaboration if the government gave the green light to modern retailers to be able to sell Oilita.
"The production of the FS Oilita will initially only be distributed to level 2 distributors and Rice Houses in partnership with the Food Station to then be distributed to non-modern store retailers, but follow up on Bakanas' request on today's visit, and in order to support the government's program to stabilize the availability and price of Oilita, the Food Station is also willing to supply it to several modern retailers in DKI Jakarta. For the first stage as much as 24 thousand liters," he explained.
Pamrihadi added, with the opening of the opportunity for modern retailers to sell Oilita, the hope is that government control will be easier, because as is known, control at General Trade is not easy. The reason is that in several places the price of simple packaged cooking oil has touched Rp. 15,000 per liter
"So with the distribution at General Trade and Modern Trade, it is hoped that government control will be easy and Modern Trade will not sell Oilita at a price of more than Rp. 14,000 per liter, for price stabilization and control of regional inflation," he concluded.
