Allegedly Asking For Money For A Rotation Of Positions, West Bandung Regent Hengki Kurniawan Reported To The KPK

West Bandung Regent Hengki Kurniawan was reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) by West Bandung Youth Activist. He allegedly asked for money during the rotation or transfer of positions.

"We residents of West Bandung are pushing for investigations and investigations that will be carried out by the KPK on our report regarding the occurrence of rotational, mutational and promotional corruption carried out by West Bandung Regent Hengki Kurniawan and his kroniawan," said West Bandung Youth Activist Chair Bilal Al Fariz at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, May 11.

Apart from Hengki, it is suspected that other officials participated in the game. However, Bilal did not want to elaborate because all names had been submitted in the report submitted to the KPK Public Complaints Section.

He just said, there were a number of job rotations that did not comply with the rules. For example, from the executive staff of promotions to echelon 4A, such as the Section Head (Kasi) or Sub Division Head (Subag) who was promoted directly to echelon 3B or 3A.

"Even though it can't be from echelon 4A directly to echelon 3A," he said.

"Or if ASN performs well, then PPK conducts promotions to other positions with a higher position in stages and cannot jump through one level," continued Bilal.

Bilal hopes that this report can be thoroughly investigated by the KPK. Thus, the mutation process does not then become a basis for certain officials.

Meanwhile, Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur did not want to talk much about the report because it was still in the realm of reporting. However, he said there were a number of officials who had been worked on for allegedly receiving money related to mutations or rotation of positions.

"In some areas, regional heads ask for a certain amount of money to fill certain positions such as service heads and others," Asep told reporters on a separate occasion.

"Maybe if there is a report to a public complaint, we'll just have to wait. Of course, it will be followed up later," he concluded.
