PUPR省は、バリマンダラ有料道路で停止のない有料道路の試験支払いの準備をしています
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has prepared and finalized the first trial of implementing toll tariff payments using the method of non-cash, contactless, and non-stopping or Multi Lane Free Flow (MLFF) on the Bali - Mandara Toll Road.
"Currently we are preparing and finalizing the MLFF concept and in the near future hopefully this year we will have a trial of MLFF (perdana) on the Bali -Mandara Toll Road," said Director of the Free Road Blocked by the Directorate General of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR Triono Junoasmono, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 10.
According to him, if later after the MLFF evaluation runs smoothly, the PUPR Ministry will replicate on other toll roads.
"So there are about 40 toll roads that we will implement MLFF, initially we started from the Bali - Mandara Toll Road. Hopefully after trials in Bali, we will gradually implement them on all toll roads. It is hoped that the trend will be quite good, currently in technical preparation, such as the installation of 'agencies', cameras, sensors, and equipment," he said.
The Ministry of PUPR, he said, is preparing a legal regulation in the form of a draft government regulation and hopefully it can be completed in June 2023.
"Of course, the Ministry of PUPR cannot do it alone because MLFF has something to do with traffic law enforcement such as prosecution so that it coordinates with the Korlantas Polri," he said.

Meanwhile, the Director of Security and Safety (Dirkamsel) of Korlantas Polri Brigadier General Pol. Ery Nursatari said the National Police is ready to assist and succeed in the implementation of MLFF on toll roads if later there is government policy.
"If later from the government there is a policy, of course we from the police will help make it a success and socialize it because this is related to law enforcement, such as penalties and so on," said Ery.
He hopes that the Bali - Mandara Toll Road can become a "pilot project" for the implementation of MLFF on toll roads for the first time.
"We hope that Bali will become a 'pilot project' for the implementation of MLFF, hopefully later everyone can be orderly and the community can accept MLFF well," he said.
