スラバヤ市長エリ・カヒヤディ がBLTの配布を31の地区事務所に移管

Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi provided a solution for the large number of residents who took Direct Cash Assistance (BLT), which was originally from two large post offices to 31 sub-district offices in the City of Heroes, East Java.

"Because the BLT recipients are so dense. So, the system must be changed, divided into each sub-district. It's a pity for residents, if they are jostling. For that I order the head of the service to be sensitive, come to the location and help deliver the solution," said Eri Cahyadi in Surabaya as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 10.

Mayor Eri monitored the tightness of the BLT recipients after receiving reports via the WhatsApp group for the RT/RW and LPMK Forkom.

After receiving the various complaints, Mayor Eri finally ordered the Head of the Surabaya Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) M. Fikser and Head of the Surabaya Social Service (Dinsos) Anna Fajriatin to coordinate with the post office to offer the distribution of the BLT through the sub-district office. The solution was agreed upon and finally the distribution was carried out in 31 sub-district offices.

The mayor added that the density at the Kebonrojo Post office occurred, because many sub-districts were handled. To unravel the density, the distribution must be distributed in the sub-district.

According to him, although it is not the authority of the city government, the distribution is related to the citizens of Surabaya.

"Later we will help in the distribution process in the sub-district, because this is dealing with Surabaya residents," he said.

In field monitoring, BLT beneficiaries who have received verification signatures can immediately take assistance at the post office. Meanwhile, those who have not received verification signatures are asked to take BLT at the sub-district office in accordance with their respective domicile.

After PT Pos Kebonrojo coordinated with the Surabaya City Government for smooth running and order during the distribution, it was agreed that the distribution of BLT would be carried out until Thursday (11/5) until it was completed.

Meanwhile, Head of the Kebonrojo Main Post Office, Surabaya Rian Syahriyani, conveyed to residents who were queuing to disperse because the distribution of BLT beneficiaries was diverted to the sub-district office.

"For those who have verified, it can be continued here (Kebonrojo Post Office), those who have not been verified will be distributed to their respective sub-districts," said Rian.

Rian continued that the distribution of BLT to 27,837 beneficiaries will be distributed through 31 sub-district offices. He hopes that with the transfer of BLT distribution at the sub-district office, it can run smoothly.

"Please, ladies and gentlemen, queue in the sub-district from now on. Those who have not verified can be taken in their respective sub-districts, for payment," he said.

The distribution of BLT was carried out on May 6, 2023. However, until May 10, there were around 7,011 residents who had not taken assistance. To anticipate congestion, apart from distribution, it was transferred from the post office to the sub-district. The final time of the distribution was also extended until May 11, 2023.
