KKB Burns Residents' Houses In Ilaga, Central Papua
JAYAPURA - Papua Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri said the armed criminal group (KKB) burned four houses located in Kago Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua.
From the report received by the Papuan Police, it was stated that the arson carried out by the armed criminal group (KKB) occurred at around 15:28 WIT.
There were no casualties in the incident because the condition of the house was not occupied or empty.
"Indeed, the four houses that were burned were no longer left and had been rented to serve as employees of PT Unggul," Fakhiri said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, April 28.
The Regional Police Chief said that the case of burning a resident's house by the KKB was initially reported by witnesses who heard the screams of mothers nearhonailaki, where the witness was.
Witness Abius Kogoya then asked his relatives to leavehonai for fear of the fire spreading his fame.
