PT Arcadian Group Indonesia Signs MoA With 2 International Partners For Business In The Oil And Gas Sector

JAKARTA - PT Arcadian Group Indonesia, a company that is developing in the oil and gas sector with a focus on upstream and downstream activities, announced the official signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with two international partners.

MoA's suppression was carried out with the Ambition (Sichuan) Oil & Gas Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. China, a leading producer in the manufacture of tools and instruments for drilling and intervention well needs, as well as CarbonSmart Engineering Solutions & Trading Pte., Ltd. Hong Kong, a technology-based company focused on sustainable energy solutions and engineering innovations.

This collaboration is an important milestone in supporting the Indonesian energy sector through superior supply integration and services. The MoA signing ceremony was held on the 28th floor of the Talavera Office Park, Jakarta, and was attended by executives and stakeholders from each company.

Representing PT Arcadian Group Indonesia, Yunda Risa CEO of PT Arcadian Group Indonesia, Dong Guiping Director of Ambition (Sichuan) Oil & Gas Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. China, and Anthony Tan, Director of CarbonSmart Engineering Solutions & Trading Pte., Ltd. Hong Kong also attended this event.

In addition, several invited guests were also seen present and expressed their support for the signing of the memorandum of understanding, including a member of Commission XII of the House of Representatives, Totok Daryanto, and the Managing Committee for Planting of Intermediate Experts, Directorate of Downstreaming and Natural Gas, Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Agency M Ikhsan Adhi Prawobo.

This agreement marks the start of close cooperation in the distribution and provision of high-performance wellhead & x-mas tree equipment to support upstream oil and gas activities throughout Indonesia.

This partnership reflects a common vision of the three companies to drive technological innovation, maintain the reliability of supply chains, and improve the implementation of energy projects at the local level.

This collaboration strengthens our ability to provide reliable and efficient wellhead & x-mas tree equipment solutions, in accordance with the growing needs of the oil and gas industry in Indonesia," said PT Arcadian Group Indonesia CEO Yunda Risa, in a statement to reporters after the event, Thursday (15/5/2025).

Yunda said that through this strategic alliance, the Indonesian Archipelago Group is committed to contributing to the development of national energy infrastructure. At the same time in line with global standards in terms of safety, quality, and sustainability.

In this regard, PT Arcadian Group Indonesia has prepared an initial investment of US$5 million in the first year to set up a spare part factory related to the oil and gas industry by increasing TKDN/local content in industrial areas in West Java.

The company projects an investment increase of 8% per year over the next five years, with adjustments based on market conditions.

Meanwhile, Director of CarbonSmart Engineering Solutions & Trading Pte., Ltd. Hong Kong Mr. Anthony Tan added, CarbonSmart Engineering Solutions & Trading Pte., Ltd. Hong Kong is very enthusiastic about collaborating with PT Arcadian Group Indonesia to support the Archipelago's efforts of the Indonesian Group in adopting sustainable practices and reducing carbon footprint.

He believes this collaboration will also have a positive impact on Indonesia's economy.
