Stand Here Alone Presents Humorous Music in Single Pura-Pura Terluka
JAKARTA - The pop-punk unit from Bandung, Stand Here Alone (SHI) introduced a new single entitled Pura-Pura Injured. This time, Mr. Botax, known as the bassist of the Bali rock band, Lolot, was present as a collaborator.
Meanwhile, Pura-Pura Injury has the theme of playing victim. A humorous musk bandage and simple lyrics are an illustration for the singles presented by the band consisting of Ocan Siagian (vocals, guitars), Mbeno (vocals, bass), and Chio (drums).
"This material was chosen because it is very relevant to the phenomenon of a person who often plays victim in a romantic relationship," said Mbenk, who wrote the lyrics of the song, in his statement, Friday, January 24.
This time, SHA hopes that his new single can become an anthem in representing listeners who are trapped in toxic relationships or have a partner who plays victim.
"Hopefully anyone who wants to finish their relationship can be more honest without having to use bad methods. Because things are starting well, it should end well too," said Ocan.
