Xiaomi Launches Redmi A5 And Redmi Pad SE 8.7 Inci, Price Of IDR 1 Million

JAKARTA - Xiaomi officially launched Redmi A5 and Redmi Pad SE 8.7 to the Indonesian market. These entry-level phones and tablets are claimed to be able to meet the digital needs of their users with optimal performance.

These two devices come at a very affordable price. Redmi A5 is an Android-based phone that already uses a side fingerprint sensor. The battery capacity is 5200mAh with support for fast charging 15W.

This device uses the Octa-Core processor with RAM support of up to 8GB. For the camera, Redmi A5 already uses the AI 32MP camera so the results are better than the previous generation. The image results also remain clear on the night mode.

The cellphone, which is equipped with a face unlock, is priced at IDR 1,199 million. Andi Renreng, Marketing Director of Xiaomi Indonesia, believes that this device can be the best alternative for people who need low-price cellphones.

"Our commitment from the start was to bring innovation to everyone," Andi said in a statement, quoted on Wednesday, March 26. "We believe this device will be a reliable digital solution for all people, providing an extraordinary user experience."

Meanwhile, Redmi Pad SE 8.7 comes with Dolby Atmos support and a 6650mAh battery. This tablet supports 18W of fast charging. For the color, this device offers the colors of Graphite Gray, Aurora Green, Sky Blue.

The weight of this tablet is 373 grams so it is claimed to be very light and can be used as a portable cashier. Redmi Pad SE 8.7 inches starts at a price of Rp1,499 million with a storage combination of 4GB+128GB.

If you are interested in Redmi A5, there are several other entry-level phones that can be used as alternatives. The first is Infinix Hot 50i, a cellphone priced at IDR 1.5 million. This device presents a larger storage combination, namely 6GB + 128GB.
