JAKARTA Meta launched Reels trial capabilities for creators on Instagram. With this new feature, creators can test content and see if the content shows the desired results.

This feature can make it easier for creators who want to get feedback from the content they create without involving followers. During content testing, Instagram will show its content to people who don't follow creators.

"If you want to experiment with new ideas without worrying about how your followers react, Reels is a tool you're looking for. Reels trials help dispel doubts about how your content will perform," Meta said.

Trial Reels can be used as an experimental event by creators. When they want to switch genres, story formats, or new topics, they may worry about losing interest from followers. Therefore, this trial feature only targets non-followers.

When creators are satisfied with the results of the videos they test, they can choose to share their content with followers. In one tap, the Reels-shaped content will be shared automatically with followers.

To follow the Reels trial, creators only need to follow the stages of uploading Reels as usual. After that, activate the Trial button before Reels is shared. Uploaded content can be seen on Profile, but only creators can see it.

"Reels will not be shown to anyone else on the main grid of your profile or Reels tab unless you decide to share it with everyone, and your followers will not see Reels trial on their Reel feed or tab," explains Meta.
