JAKARTA - Application scanning documents is one of the important needs for now. Google Drive realizes the importance of this feature so they add a scanning feature to the latest version.

This cloud storage application will add document scanning capabilities. With this new feature, users do not need to download additional applications just to scan one or two documents.

First reported by 9to5google, the scan view on Google Drive is almost the same as other scanning apps. This feature only needs to target documents to be converted into pdf before they are stored automatically into the cloud.

This feature is in the added icon in the lower left corner of the screen. When tapped, the user can find the Scan menu next to the Upload menu. Users can directly take pictures of the desired document.

Users can also align documents with simple controls through the Pangkas & Play tool. In addition, documents can be re-selected and deleted if the user is still doubtful about taking the document's image.

To make the document look more real, Google Drive also presents several options in filters such as Automatically, Color, and Gray Scale. Although the filter option is not as many as other scanning applications, the display is quite good.

This feature has arrived on iOS and Android with version 2.23.457.1. To get a Google Drive update with this scanning feature, make sure to update your app to the latest version.
