Solana Blockchain Dominates Web3 Game World, Here's A List Ready To Launch On Epic Games Store!

JAKARTA - Solana (SOL), one of the fastest and most secure blockchains in the world, increasingly shows its superiority in Web3 gaming. Game Web3 is a game that utilizes blockchain and crypto technology to provide players with more innovative and autonomous gaming experiences.

According to Game7's State of Web3 Gaming Report 2023, a platform linking Web3 game developers to players, the number of Web3 games available on Epic Games Store, one of the largest digital game distribution platforms, has jumped from 10 at the start of the year to 69 in October.

The report also highlights that Solana now has more than 125 games in its ecosystem, making it the fourth most favorite blockchain for game developers around the world and number one non-EVM blockchain.

EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) is a computational model used by Ethereum and several other blockchains. Non-EVM blockchains are blockchains that do not use EVM, such as Solana, Binance Smart Chain, and Polkadot.

Solana-based Web3 games offer a variety of genres, from science fiction adventure games to cute pet fights.

Here are some Solana-based Web3 games that are ready to be released on the Epic Games Store:

1. Star Atlas, a science fiction MMORPG game that is still under development, is one of the most anticipated Web3 games. The game uses Solana tokens and NFTs to create a wide and realistic gaming world, which is full of spacecraft, futuristic buildings, and cool costumes for the character of the players.

Despite some obstacles, such as the shutdown of 73% of its staff in July, the game continues. In September, the game released a demo that could be played by the owner of the NFT Star Atlas at the Epic Games Store.

2. Aurory, a free fantasy RPG game, combines elements of the Pokémon and Matrix. The game originally launched NFT and AURY tokens in Solana, but then announced plans to expand into the Ethereum layer-2 Arbitrum network in July.

Aury recently announced that the game will launch its RPG expansion, "Seekers of Tokane", at the Epic Games Store, in addition to the existing browser version.

3. Howls of Tokane offer unlimited ground players to explore, more complete combat features, and deeper character customization. While there is no definite release date on Epic Games Store, the game is listed as "Immediate Present".

4. Yaku, the social metaverse game is blockchain-based Solana and Ethereum. The game is in its early access stage at the Epic Games Store, focusing on content created by users and community-driven development.

The game depicts the dystopian science fiction environment controlled by the cruel Saikou mega-corporate. Yaku plans to gradually release the game world through periodic updates for the next five to seven years.

5. Chain Crisis, the cyberpunk dystopian shooter game, is set in the future fiction world of Warpgate City. The game is listed as "Immediate Present" on the Epic Games Store. The game has released an NFT male PFP-style avatar on the Solana network and plans to offer character cosmetics in the game as NFT.

6. Angelic, a fantasy strategy game that combines RPG elements, cards, and puzzles. The game uses tokens and NFTs on the Solana net to create a rich and attractive gaming world, which is full of magical creatures, artifacts, and various capabilities. The game has released a beta version that can be played on the Epic Games Store.
