JAKARTA - Meta and Amazon are confirmed to be collaborating to connect their users. Now, when users click on Amazon ads on Instagram or Facebook, they will be directed directly to Amazon Toko to make purchases without leaving the app.

CEO of Disruptive Digital as well as advertising partner for Google and Meta, Maurice Rahmey, via his LinkedIn post mentioned several opportunities for income earned by each company through this collaboration.

"Although additional details are still unknown, this partnership could be a huge revenue opportunity for Meta, Amazon, and most importantly, advertisers," he said.

In terms of Meta, Rahmey said that Meta will get more ad signals from top e-commerce stores on the web to increase client investment.

Meanwhile, Amazon will get more transaction fees driven directly from mobile-largest platform ad machines.

Sellers can increase their conversion volume with additional sales channels and 1:1 measurements between their top advertising platform and retail partners, he explained further.

A Meta spokesperson also told TechCrunch that customers in the US will see real-time prices, shipping forecasts, and product details on specific Amazon product ads on Facebook and Instagram as part of a new experience.
