Roblox Firmly Denies Accepting XRP Crypto Payments

JAKARTA - The claim that recently emerged, mentions that popular gaming platform Roblox will support payments using the XRP Ripple token. This claim turned out to be baseless and has been directly denied by Roblox.

The claim stems from a tweet posted by the BitPay payment platform, which was later deleted. The tweet indicates that users can use the XRP Ripple token to make payments in the Roblox game.

This statement, which turned out to be inaccurate, has triggered the spread of fake news about Roblox which is claimed to "integrate" XRP into its payment system.

A well-known crypto investor, Scott Melker, also posted a tweet linking Roblox to this cryptocurrency, albeit without a valid basis. However, Roblox firmly denied the claims and stated that they did not support XRP as a payment method.

Roblox also confirmed that they are not collaborating with BitPay to bring XRP into their platform. Rapid testing of the currency purchase process in the Robux game on the Roblox website shows that the only payment options in the US are credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, PayPal, Venmo, Klarna, payments at koruption Pharmacy, or Paysafecard.

Xsola's representative, a payment solution provider for game developers previously named in this false claim, also denies having links to the deleted BitPay tweet. Xsola offers payment options that can be used on various gaming platforms, including Roblox.
