Although the price change for this package has only been in effect in three countries, Netflix will soon bring this change to Germany, Spain, Japan, Mexico, Australia and Brazil.

Over the past few months, Netflix has added more than 8.76 million new subscribers to the current total Netflix users of 247.15 million. The 70 percent increase in the third quarter made Netflix reflect on its success.

Netflix believes that they can attract many new subscribers as they continue to host the latest shows. In fact, several dramas and series managed to score successes such as One Piece, Suits, and the Band of Brothers.

Meanwhile, the news of this price increase was welcomed by investors until their shares rose to 390.80 US dollars (Rp 6.1 million) from 346.19 US dollars (Rp 5.4 million). Netflix also managed to make a profit of up to 8.54 billion US dollars (Rp135 trillion).
