JAKARTA - In August, a report said that the next generation of the Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 console will be launched around 2024.

If leaks have been trusted over the past few weeks, Nintendo Switch 2 will be a significant technical upgrade compared to its predecessor, the current Nintendo Switch.

At the time, several VGC sources said that this new generation would be a portable model like the current Nintendo switch, but would be launched with an LCD screen, not an OLED.

However, thanks to the use of DLSS, the console will reportedly be able to generate games at 4K/60 FPS with support for ray tracing.

The latest news comes from the owner of Insider Gaming, Tom Henderson on platform X, who expressed his excitement about Switch 2 technology.

In his post on Saturday, September 30, he stated, "We will see" launches on Xbox Series XIS, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC within 12-18 months."

The leak claims that Nintendo is targeting a release in the second half of 2024, which we may get official information about in the coming months.

Regarding these main multiplatform titles, according to GamingBolt, the latest leaks have provided some potential indications, with games like Far Cry 7 and Monster Hunter 6.
