JAKARTA - SEEK, a parent company from JobStreet, a technology company providing job vacancies, revealed that it will invest more than 200 million Australian dollars (Rp1.97 trillion) in massive expansion in Indonesia.

CEO of SEEK Asia, Peter Bithos said that one concrete form of SEK's business expansion in Indonesia is to develop and apply artificial intelligence (AI) on its platform.

"We are increasing our investment in Indonesia, we are increasing our investment in AI, and we believe now Indonesians can look for and find more opportunities (work) than ever before," Peter said in an exclusive interview with several media on Tuesday, September 12 at Jobstreet's office.

With this AI technology, it will make it easier for applicants and recruiters in every job search process, both for applicants and recruitment.

"Our main focus right now is matching the right job with the right person," explained Peter.

Peter said that later job seekers no longer need to think about how to make a good resume, because AI can do that, and immediately match your resume with existing vacancies.

"And that will allow Indonesians to find the right jobs faster, easier, better and that will all be supported by the AI we are currently developing," he added.

Meanwhile, for employers or recruiters, AI will allow them in terms of making the best job vacancies in just one click.

"We believe now is a very pleasant time to help the most suitable person for a certain job and vice versa, and it will help for the long term," concluded Peter.
