Ripple And NVIDIA Win Awards From PEOPLE Magazine As Best Companies Caring For Employees

JAKARTA - Ripple, a well-known company in America, has won an award from the well-known magazine PEOPLE because it is recognized as one of the 100 best companies that care about employees and the public.

PEOPLE magazine has issued an annual rating showing companies that stand out in concern for society. In this latest ranking, Ripple has successfully entered as one of 100 caring companies. The company shares appreciation to its employees who have made positive contributions through Ripple Impact programs.

In a statement, Ripple expressed its pride for this recognition: "We are very proud to have a place in 100 People's Care Companies by 2023! We would like to thank all Ripple employees who have contributed both locally and globally through Ripple Impact programs."

Ripple was awarded a similar award earlier this month for its humanitarian efforts, The Crypto Basic reported.

The annual ranking of PEOPLE includes companies that exceed expectations in showing attention to customers and the world around them. In this year's edition, Ripple is ranked the same as the leading businesses in the health sector in the United States. Names such as Adobe Systems Incorporated, NVIDIA, HP Inc, and Mastercard are also included in this list.

Ripple's success in this ranking is mainly thanks to their corporate social responsibility program (CSR) called Ripple Impact. This program focuses on promoting financial inclusion, research, and sustainability.

PEOPLE also highlight that Ripple gives employees the freedom to actively participate in their charitable activities or goals. In addition, Ripple supports employees in finding new charitable organizations that comply with their principles.

Not only that, BUT PEOPLE also underline an important moment in the charitable contribution of Ripple employees in 2021. According to this magazine, Ripple experienced the most significant moment in terms of employee charitable contributions that year.

Interestingly, Ripple equates the donations given by its employees. The company equalizes donations of up to US$1,000 (Rp15 million) per full-time employee annually. In addition, Ripple gives employees $50 worth of credit to support the charity platform and starts their first donation after joining.

A Ripple employee commented, "There are many opportunities to engage in public services and benefit from mental health care. Most importantly, employees are valued and encouraged to maintain a balance between work and life."
