JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi after the inauguration of the integrated national public information service info.go.id revealed that the National Data Center (PDN) located in Cikarang will be inaugurated in September 2024.

"The data center is in PDN, we are still building the one in Cikarang. Earlier I had a meeting, the plan was for September 2024 to be inaugurated by PDN in Cikarang," said the Minister of Communication and Information to the media crew when asked by the data center to store all data from the info.go.id site.

The Indonesian government itself plans to build three National Data Centers. The three PDNs will be built in Cikarang, Batam, and also the State Capital or IKN.

Meanwhile, the inauguration of the PDN which is scheduled to take place in September next year is PDN located in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency.

Nevertheless, the Minister of Communication and Information revealed that currently the Cikarang PDN development process has only reached 10 to 20 percent. However, he emphasized that the escalation of the construction was fast.

"Cikarang PDN, the percent has not been calculated, my calculator is a bit damaged," said Budi jokingly. "But about 10-20 percent. Currently, it's just the foundation, but the escalation is fast. Earlier I had a meeting, the point was good, later in time we will convey it to my friends," he concluded.

Minister of Communication and Information Budi together with the Director General of Information and Public Communication (IKP) of Kominfo, Usman Kansong officially launched info.go.id on Wednesday, August 23 in Jakarta.
