Ledger Introduces Paypal Payment Integration For Purchase Of Kritpo On The Ledger Live Application

JAKARTA - In the innovative move announced Wednesday, the leading crypto security company and hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has announced Paypal payment integration for customers in the United States.

This announcement offers new opportunities for Ledger Live users to buy a number of popular digital currencies, including bitcoin (BTC), ethereum (ETH), bitcoin cash (BCH), and litecoin (LTC), directly through the app using Paypal services.

This integration was highlighted by the company as a "comfortable, simple, and secure way" for users to buy crypto assets directly through the Ledger Live app. In their announcement, Ledger explained that users can easily choose Paypal as their payment method when they are on the app's "buy" section.

However, it is important to remember that this integration will only be available to users who have previously used Paypal to purchase crypto assets.

New consumers who wish to use Paypal for crypto asset transactions will be asked to create a Paypal account or undergo the verification process of Know Your Customer (KYC), in accordance with the direction given by Ledger. This step comes in line with Paypal's launch of a new stablecoin, namely PYUSD, which is pegged at US dollar value. Although the announcement has been made, PYUSD is not yet available for public use. Paypal has been trying to expand its service reach in the crypto world over the past two years. In addition, although recently users in the UK experienced crypto purchase restrictions due to regulatory changes.
