JAKARTA - After presenting a closed beta and providing some improvements to the new games that will be coming to the Meta Horizon Worlds in May, Meta finally officially introduced the Super Rumble.

Super Rumble is a new Meta game previously known as Titanborne during the beta stage. The game was developed directly by Meta's in-house studio, Ouro Interactive.

With this new title, Super Rumble marks a potentially new Meta title for the Horizon Worlds platform, with better graphics and more complex gameplay.

Metaverse vice president Vishal Shah described Super Rumble as the next generation of Horizon Worlds, and stressed that this game will offer more than just a new world.

This statement was also confirmed by Janko Roettgers of Lowpass, a player who has tried the beta version. He admitted that he was amazed by the level of detail and quality of the game provided. This is possible by building games using imported objects, assets, and textures, features that were previously unavailable.

Super Rumble is a free first-person shooter game that can be played by two to six players. Meta says that every game will last for five minutes.

The introduction of mobile apps with cross-platform capabilities can help Meta expand its audience beyond VR headset users.

Previously, Meta admitted that the units developing Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies, namely Reality Labs, experienced an operational loss of around Rp52.5 trillion.

Meta also said it would continue to invest in the most exciting opportunities, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the metaverse, as quoted by CNET and CNBC International, Thursday, July 27.
