JAKARTA - The Executive Board of Indonesian Esports (PBESI) through the Secretary General (Sekjen) Frengky Ong has granted permission for the implementation of the Indonesian MPL and MDL Indonesia.

Through his personal Instagram account, based on the results of the plenary session held on July 5, the Secretary General of PBESI said that they had given permission regarding the implementation of MPL Season 12 and MDL Season 8.

"PBESI has approved the implementation of MDL Season 8 and MPL Season 12 because both of them have met the applicable requirements. Furthermore, it is hoped that the organizers will need to coordinate with PBESI and be able to maintain the quality of the implementation," Frengky Ong wrote in his Instagram stories, quoted on Sunday 9 July.

Previously, MPL Indonesia had also announced the schedule for the implementation of the two tournaments under its auspices.

The MDL Indonesia Season 8 tournament will take place from July 10, 2023, using the same format as the previous season, namely two phases with 17 participating teams.

Meanwhile, MPL ID Season 12 will take place from July 13 to October 15, 2023 and all matches will take place offline. In addition, the regular MPL ID Season 12 season will be held at the XO Hall MPL Arena.
