JAKARTA - During the Google I/O event held a few days ago, Google shared its next step in artificial intelligence (AI) journey, introducing new AI-generative capabilities for Google Cloud.

"To help cloud users of all levels of expertise in solving their daily job challenges, we are pleased to announce the AI for Google Cloud Duet," Thomas Kurian, CEO, Google Cloud, said on Google's official blog.

According to the company, the AI for Google Cloud Duet serves as an expert programmer that can help cloud users by completing contextual codes, providing advice that is adapted to code bases, running functions in real-time, and helping you with code reviews and inspections.

Additionally, Google is also introducing new fundamental models and capabilities across their Google Cloud AI products, for developers who want to create a more simple and efficient AI application.

The three new models are Vertex AI Codey, a basic model for codemaking that can help accelerate software development by code creation, code completion, and code chat.

The second model is Imagen, a basic text-to-image model, which allows customers to generate and customize studio-level images.

Lastly, there is also Chirp, a conversation model that allows users to engage more deeply with their customers and constituents inclusively in their native language through text and voice assistance.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
