DANA Digital Wallet Records Positive Growth Trends At The Beginning Of Ramadan 2023

JAKARTA - The month of Ramadan is a moment that is synonymous with gathering activities with family, friends, or co-workers to stay in touch. As one of the special activities at this moment, 'bukber' or open together has become a routine for Indonesian people during the month of Ramadan.

Apparently, the DANA digital wallet application, which provides various payment and financial services, is still the choice of the community to support their lifestyle during the current month of Ramadan 2023.

Increasing the use of DANA digital wallets to meet various user needs during this month of Ramadan, was marked by the soaring growth of several features and services in the first 12 days of Ramadan in 2023.

"In Ramadan this year, we saw an increase in transactions of up to 122 percent when compared to the first 12 days of Ramadan last year. Meanwhile, the increase also occurred in the number of daily transaction users with an increase of 103 percent," said Lim Wimawan Kusuma, Head of Marketing DANA Indonesia at the Ngabuburit Bareng DANA event, Thursday, April 6 in Jakarta.

The five features in the DANA application are increasingly in demand during Ramadan, including the Money Send feature, QR Payments, E-Commerce Shopping, Pulsa and Data, to Financial Services.

In addition, as a form of appreciation for DANA to users, DANA also briefly presented a Special THR Party which was held in the first two weeks of Ramadan 2023. Through this program, DANA invites users to collect as many points to have the opportunity to win attractive prizes.

Various features that experienced growth in the month of Ramadan are proof of DANA's consistency in providing safe, fast and easy digital payment and financial services for various situations and conditions.

Before closing the month of Ramadan this year, DANA said it would continue to educate the public to take advantage of various other features to optimize user worship in this holy month.

Some of these educations include the use of the Donation Fund feature for charity, the Dompet Dhuafa program mini to pay Zakat, to the Money Send feature or even Funds Surprised to send THR to relatives.
