MG Will Make Another Surprise At Jakarta Auto Week 2023

JAKARTA - At the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week 2023 event, the British car manufacturer, MG, will present a surprise by releasing their newest car at the GJAW event.

In a release from MG Motor Indonesia, Arief Syarifudin as head of marketing and PR for MG Motor Indonesia said that automotive enthusiasm in Indonesia was growing and positive along with the rise of industrial movements.

One of the cars that will be shown to the public is the updated version of the MG 5 GT. According to MG, they will show the sedan model in a flashy yellow color with a monochrome appearance. They hope this can suck up the enthusiasm of automotive enthusiasts. MG will launch on the opening day of GJAW, Friday, 10 March 2023 at 14:30 WIB.

Of course, MG has done this before on the MG ZS. In mid-February, the MG ZS was introduced with black paint right down to the logo and rims.

MG is hitting the Indonesian automotive market in 2023. At the beginning of this year, MG released its newest SUV, the MG HS. At the same time, MG released its newest sedan, the MG 5 GT as the sedan model with the highest sales among its competitors.

To note, at the IIMS 2023 they introduced their futuristic electric car, the MG4 EV which also received a positive response from the public. In fact, MG4 EV won an award as "The Most Favorite Best EV" by the IIMS jury.
