JAKARTA - BINAR, a non-formal education institution that focuses on intensive online courses or bootcamps, won the Best-Paper category at the 2022 International Conference on Psychology and Interdisciplinary Behavioral Studies (ICP-IBS).

The BINAR Academy Research and Development team successfully presented the results of their research entitled "Cognitive Load in Predicting Online Programming Students' Completion Rate and Factors that Influence It" in front of 432 participants from 19 countries.

In their research, the BINAR Team took case studies from the Independent Study Campus Merdeka Batch 2 and made innovations to solve the student completion rate problem. The results of their research show that the cognitive capacity factor (cognitive load) greatly influences the success of learners in digital bootcamps. Therefore, learning methods must be designed in such a way that they do not burden the working memory capacity of the human brain.

Alamanda Shantika, CEO of BINAR, stated that this research is BINAR's contribution in creating digital talent that is one step ahead. The results of this research will be used as a guideline to provide the best for students and partners so that they can make better digital improvements.

Through this research, BINAR wants to ensure that the student completion rate at digital bootcamps is getting higher and of higher quality.

By successfully winning the Best-Paper category at ICP-IBS 2022, BINAR is increasingly recognized as an innovative non-formal education institution that focuses on developing digital talent.

As an educational institution that always innovates, BINAR is ready to help many people to develop their digital skills and compete in the digital era.
