JAKARTA - Home Assistant, an open-source home automation platform focused on privacy and local control. This Home Assistant allows you to take care of homework automatically with just one click.

Maybe Home Assistant is not widely used in Indonesia, but in other countries in Europe, America, Korea or Japan, this tool is very popular and widely used for their smart homes.

Home Assistant is equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) to be able to respond to the needs of its users. The AI in this tool can respond and manage various tools that have been linked with just a few words.

Some time ago, Home Assistant co-founder Paulus Schoutsen announced that Home Assistant would be getting support for its own voice assistant.

"Our goal for 2023 is to let users control the Home Assistant in their own language," Schoutsen said on his blog.

He also added that the new project, which is targeted for release in 2023, can localize all voice commands that control smart devices without the need to connect to the cloud owned by assistants such as Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.

To build his own voice assistant, Nabu Casa, Schoutsen's cloud company needed someone with experience, so developer Michael Hansen was asked to lead the project.

According to The Verge, Hansen is the creator of another open-source product called Rhasspy, their own community-supported voice assistant that integrates technology into any solution they try to build.

Currently, the user interface for the Home Assistant app supports 62 languages, and Schoutsen hopes the community can help set things up with voice.
