JAKARTA - Blockchain technology trends and web3, including the metaverse, are now increasingly being applied by various corporate fields.

In fact, one of the crypto entrepreneurs Oscar Darmawan who is also the CEO of Indodax admitted, even though NFT initially came as something boom or hype, the launch of this technology will change the trend of human life in the future.

Responding to this trend, DANA's Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Norman acknowledged that the company already has plans to enter blockchain and web3.

"DANA has seen and there is already a team working on it to experiment on that," Norman told the media on Thursday, November 24.

However, when asked further about the form of blockchain technology that will be created later, Norman was reluctant to reveal it. "We will wait for the product to launch," he continued.

The digital wallet company itself admits that it already has a division designed as a team to create new innovations.

"The point is, as a technology company, we see that (blockchain technology) seems to be useful, there is also a team working on that technology. But we are going back to our philosophy, so we don't want to just 'use this'," said Norman further.

DANA itself has a philosophy where the company will place customer experience as the main thing, in creating the technology needed.

However, Norman said that he saw opportunities on this blockchain technology.

"But we see an opportunity, and it can be useful for users. So basically, there is a team working on this, that's how it is," concluded Norman.
