Subway Surfers and Stumble Guys Become the Most Downloaded Games in August

JAKARTA - Sensor Tower, a data analytics service revealed that Miniclip's Sybo Games Subway Surfers was the most downloaded mobile game worldwide for August 2022, with 33.5 million installers.

Based on the data provided, the country with the most game installs during this period was China with 28.5 percent of the total downloads and India with 13.3 percent.

While Subway Surfers is in first place, the Stumble Guys game is in the top two most popular mobile games worldwide based on downloads for August 2022.

Stumble Guys from Kitka Games was installed worldwide last month with 26.5 million downloads, an 8.7-fold increase from August 2021.

The country with the largest number of Stumble Guys installations was Indonesia with 15.2 percent, followed by the United States with 14 percent.

According to game download estimates, the following are the 10 most popular games based on the number of downloads originating from the Store Intelligence Sensor Tower platform

Sensor Tower data also reveals that the global mobile games market generated 4.6 billion downloads on the App Store and Google Play in August 2022, marking a 1.6 percent year-over-year decline.

The No.1 market for global game downloads is India, which garnered 787.5 million installs, or 17 percent of total downloads worldwide.

Then there is Brazil which ranks number two for game downloads with 8.2 percent, overtaking the US at No. 3, which accounts for 8.1 percent of the total installs.
