JAKARTA - Twitter has started testing the CoTweets feature in several countries such as Canada, Korea, and the United States. This feature allows you to write tweets with other Twitter users.

A Twitter spokesperson confirmed the news to TechCrunch. The company stated that this trial was carried out in a limited time to find out how users used the feature. Actually, the news of the addition of the CoTweets feature on Twitter was first shared by a mobile developer named Alessandro Paluzzi.

The company explains that anyone with CoTweets access will be able to invite other Twitter users. While those who receive a CoTweets invitation, they will see a pop-up to tweet with CoTweets.

You can choose to accept or reject the invitation. If you receive the invitation, the tweet that you send will appear in the two account names who wrote the tweet.

Then, when you change your mind about the tweet collaboration that has been posted, you can revoke the CoTweets, and the tweet posted later will turn into an ordinary tweet by the original author.

"We tested CoTweets in a limited time to learn how people and brands can use this feature to develop and reach new viewers, as well as strengthen their collaboration with other accounts," a Twitter spokesperson said, quoted by TechCrunch.

With this feature, Twitter wants to keep looking for new ways for people to collaborate there.
