JAKARTA - The largest information and communication technology exhibition in Indonesia, Indocomtech officially opened this morning in hall A at the Jakarta Convention Center on June 22.

The Indocomtech 2022 exhibition was finally held again after two years of delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The last Indocomtech exhibition held in 2019 has successfully presented 250 exhibitors and a total of 185.625 visitors.

The largest information technology exhibition in the country will be held for five days starting from June 22 to June 26, 2022, at the Jakarta Convention Center.

The opening ceremony of this exhibition was carried out with warmth and intimacy through ribbon cutting by the Board of Trustees of the Apkomindo Foundation (YAI), Chris Irwan Japari which was witnessed directly by the organizer of the International Exhibition Traya event, Bambang Setiawan, and a number of information technology industry players including the President Director of Zyrex, Timothy Siddik, Director of Cannon Business Unit Datascrip, CEO of IT Gallery Jo Susanto Yanto, Managing Director of Epson Indonesia, Mr. Yusuke Muto, AMD Consumer Business Indonesia Business Development Manager, HP Indonesia Trade Marketing Manager, and ASUS South East Asia Regional Director, Mr. Jimmy Lin.

In his speech, Chris Irwan Japari said that this event had become a magnet in itself and was looking forward to its presence. Not only for tech enthusiasts but also for information technology industry players, stakeholders and all levels of society who are enthusiastic about today's technological developments.

Furthermore, Irwan added that the COVID-19 pandemic spurred the acceleration of the reality of digital transformation in all sectors, creating a new reality, where humans now live without knowing the boundaries of space and time. The movement of people in cyberspace is very massive and makes this happen.

"Discover The Possibilities, is the theme of Indocomtech 2022 to invite people as early as possible to adapt to new habits with advanced technology. Information technology devices can be a solution for a better quality of life in endemic times," he explained in a speech given at the opening of the Indocomtech 2022 Exhibition in JCC, June 22.

With the re-organization of the Indocomtech 2022 exhibition, Irwan invites MSME players to work together to support technology in Indonesia to be more advanced.

Currently, Irwan said there were a total of 75 participating companies. In addition, Irwan also has a target of at least 50.000 visitors.
