JAKARTA - Russia's invasion of Ukraine some time ago has indeed prompted several companies to decide to do business with the country.

A website created by a hacker group was discovered by Techspot. A hacker calling himself Obfuscated Dreams of Scheherazade has created a bot that manages conference calls between several government entities.

The bot calls aim to waste government time and tie up phone lines. Automatic spam calls go on non-stop during Russia's operating hours.

On Wednesday, May 18, a hacking group created a site where anyone could initiate and listen to one of these calls. The website is called Waste Russian Time Today.

Users visiting the site can scroll down to the phone icon, and initiate calls between Russian agents at random. Then, you listen to the mess as they try to figure out who's calling who and why.

As far as VOI is concerned to date, 5.204 calls have been made from the website since it went live.

The group operates the telephone numbers of thousands of government employees, including Putin's press corps, Duma employees, Military Police and the FSB (Russian Secret Service).
