JAKARTA - On Tuesday, March 29, NFT enthusiasts gathered for the Non-Fungible Event 2022 (NFE 2022), at Mbloc Space Jakarta. Various activities ranging from conference talks to workshops served as interesting menu offerings for visitors.

"During this pandemic, NFT experienced rapid growth in Indonesia. Unfortunately, there is no offline melting pot that brings together industry players and IP owners with the community of creators, project owners, developers, and NFT collectors," said Fajar Widi as Chairman at NFE 2022 and the initiator of the event.

The Mbloc location was chosen because it represents a fairly iconic public space and is in line with pop culture in the NFT world. This practitioner gathering is also supported by the Jakarta Creative City Network.

Handoko Hendroyono from the Jakarta Creative City Network expressed his support for this event, “We are happy to welcome the joy of working now and in the future. We fully support this event because it will open up creative space for industry players.

Furthermore, Fajar explained that there were three objectives of holding this event. The first goal is a form of education to the public for those who are not familiar with the world of NFT

The NFT Academy community is also here, whose goal is to provide NFT educational literacy to anyone who wants to learn. There will be an NFT Sharing session which will be filled by observers and practitioners of the NFT project.

The second goal is to open a wider frame of mind about the world of NFT. According to Fajar, NFT can complement the inter-industry ecosystem in the future if IP owners can combine NFT products with utilities in order to have real business value.

Therefore, Non-Fungible Events are also enlivened by organizations such as the Indonesian Blockchain Association and KADIN, as well as several brands such as Podkesmas Asia, Kompas Gramedia, VIA, and the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL).

Along with this event, a ceremonial signing of the collaboration between KUY Token and Lyto was also held as Indonesia's top game publisher.

The third goal is a collaboration space for anyone who wants to work in the NFT industry. “In Indonesia, NFT is still in the early adopter phase and the market is not yet massive. In fact, this event will open access for industry players to accelerate the growth of NFT in Indonesia," added Fajar.

As a form of appreciation for the activists and supporters of the event as well as a reminder of the moment of the presence of NFT enthusiasts on March 29, 2022, Fajar took the initiative to distribute an NFT commemorative as an exclusive souvenir to all visitors and supporters of the event.
