JAKARTA - Not long ago, PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) has officially introduced an all-new Kona Electric N Line with a sporty look that is ready to tease Indonesian consumers.
The presence of the compact SUV also marked the beginning of the work of Hyundai N's sub-brand high performance in Indonesia, which previously successfully launched a high-performance EV, Ioniq 5 N.
After introducing the all-new Kona Electric N Line, the South Korean manufacturer has the possibility to introduce another sporty product, namely Creta N Line in Indonesia. What's more, the car has been registered with the DKI Jakarta Province Motor Vehicle Selling Value (NJKB).
Responding to this, the Chief Operating Officer of PT HMID, Fransiscus Soerjopranoto explained that his party will expand N Line products in Indonesia as well as show that Hyundai can offer models with similar sports looks like other manufacturers.
"In general, N Line must be new next year, because it's more sporty looking. Not only Hyundai, several other brands also have a sporty look segment or high performance," said Frans during an interview with the media after the launch of the all-new Kona Electric at SCBD, Jakarta, last Thursday.
Although the details of the product were not disclosed, Frans ensured that the next N Line product would be a differentiator in the Indonesian automotive market.

"We want to show that Hyundai, especially EVs, has high performance EVs and sporty looks, that's a difference for us that other brands don't have," added Frans.
Previously, Hyundai Creta N Line was listed on the NJKB page with the code CRETA NLINE GLS4X2AT, CRETA NLINETOP4X2 AT, and CRETA NTRBO1.5 4X2AT on the list.
It was also stated that this compact SUV had a selling value of IDR 223 million to IDR 240 million. However, it should be remembered that the prices listed on the NKJB website do not cover all sales taxes such as BBNKB, PPh, VAT, and others.
Talking about the car, Hyundai offers a different design compared to other types of Creta, such as a sporty display with the latest front and back bumpers, redesigned grip, prominent side skirt, and 18-inch rim wrapped in 215/55 R18 tires.
Regarding the engine, Hyundai Creta N Line gets a runway of 1.5 liters of gasoline turbo with a magnitude of 160 dk and transmission of seven dual-clutch accelerations. In addition, the company also offers a transmission system of six manual accelerations to feel a different sensation. The manufacturer claims, Creta N Line can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour within 8.9 seconds.
This model has three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. Not only that, but manufacturers also provide three modes of traction, such as Snow, Sand, and Mud.
In India, Creta N Line is priced at prices ranging from 1.682 million rupees to 2 million rupees (equivalent to IDR 317.8 million to IDR 377.9 million).
