Raw Materials And Spare Parts Rise, Chery Omoda Price 5 GT Increases IDR 5 Million

JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) announced that there will be a price change for the Omoda 5 GT which was recently launched, active from December 5, 2023.

The highest variant of the Omoda series has increased by IDR 5 million, up one percent, and will apply to both variants, namely Front Wheel Drive and All Wheel Drive.

Not without reason, according to Qu Ji Zong, Executive Vice President of CSI, this happened due to an increase in the price of raw materials and spare parts in the global market.

"Out of our expectations, the demand for the 5 GT Chery Omoda is currently increasing and therefore we have to accelerate production, on the other hand, the prices of raw materials and spare parts are rising, and we have to make adjustments," he said, in a statement received by VOI, Thursday, November 23, 2023.

In VOI monitoring on the official Chery Indonesia website, the Omoda 5 GT AWD model is currently priced at Rp488,800,000 million, while for FWD it is at Rp448,800,00 million, Jakarta OTR. Thus, the AWD type will reach Rp493 million, while the FWD is at a price of Rp453 million.

In addition, Chery will continue to be committed to providing the best driving experience of quality products, this can be realized by using raw materials and high standard spare parts.
