Automotive Market In Kalimantan Promises, Chery Opens Diler Network In Samarinda

Chery is increasingly strengthening its position in the Indonesian automotive industry by presenting a dealers network in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan. The construction of the dealers is the result of a collaboration between PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) and PT Hayyu Pratama Dealer.

this step further strengthens the determination of this Chinese manufacturer in providing more diler services and getting closer to consumers in various parts of Indonesia.

Qu Jizong, as Executive Vice President of PT CSI, said the presence of a dealers network in Samarinda and its surroundings was due to manufacturers seeing promising growth in the automotive industry in the region.

"We are very optimistic to introduce premium Chery SUV models to automotive consumers in Samarinda City and beyond," said Qu Jizong, in a statement received by VOI, Thursday, October 26.

The choice of PT Hayyu Pratama Dealer as a partner is not without reason. This company is known for providing automotive sales services in East Kalimantan, such as Balikpapan, Bontang, Sangatta, Kutai Kartanegara, and Penajam Paser.

Diler Chery Samarinda is present on Jl. Wahid Hasyim I No.40, South Sempaja, North Samarinda, Samarinda, with a building area of about 1,534 m2. The dealers network has provided 3S services, namely Sales, Sparepart, and Service.

Just like other networks of dealers, Chery will feature various models, including Tiggo 7 Pro, Tiggo 8 Pro, Omoda 5, and the latest model of Omoda 5 GT which is a mainstay product of Chery in Indonesia.

The expansion of this dealers network is in line with the company's target to have 60 dealers by the end of 2023. The plan is that PT CSI will also build 40 additional dealers by 2024, so that the total will reach 100 dealers who will serve all parts of Indonesia.
