JAKARTA - In welcoming the 43rd ASEAN Summit which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, the Hyundai Motor Group officially introduced "Art Cars" for a number of its models.

Hyundai has launched four models that have been given a special design to promote South Korea as the host of the upcoming World Expo 2030 in Busan.

Reporting from Hyundai's official website on Monday, September 4, the four models that have been decorated with graffiti are Stargazer X, Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, and Genesis G80. Each of these cars has been decorated with graffiti patterns that are attracting attention.

In total there are 23 vehicles that have been given a special design for the ASEAN Summit. The artist who graced these cars was Jay Flow, a well-known graffiti artist in South Korea.

These cars became the canvas for bright and colorful graffiti works on the front and side of the vehicle. They describe the Gwangan Bridge and the fire birds, with the message "Busan Read" affirming the readiness of the city as the host of international events.

These cars will operate around the ASEAN Summit and its surroundings, especially at Jakarta tourist sites, to promote Busan to guests and tourists who are present in Jakarta.

In addition, Hyundai will also feature a promotional video highlighting Busan's unique appeal and messages supporting their efforts to host the World Expo 2030. This video will be shown on more than 30 screens installed at the arrival gate and departure of Terminal 3 Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, as well as around 20 outdoor screens and billboards near airports, major city roads, and important areas of Jakarta.

During the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta, Hyundai Motor Indonesia (HMID) has provided 74 units of Ioniq 6 and 272 units of Ioniq 5 for the mobility of delegates during the event from 5 to 7 September.
