Lexus Announces GX Launch On June 8th

JAKARTA - After announcing the launch date of the LBX SUV, Lexus again announced that the GX's newest generation SUV would be launched on June 8.

In a teaser released on the Lexus page, Thursday, May 25, the Lexus GX only displays the back with LED lights attached through the back door with designs that look stiffer than LBX.

On the side, it has a line that looks straight with a slightly higher mirror. The GX Lexus can be called the newest Toyota Land Cruiser's brother because of its stiff and tough design.

Lexus only released images from GX, but there was no further information about the SUV.

It is estimated that GX will use the same engine option as the Land Cruiser. However, there is also the possibility that GX will receive the powertrain option. Moreover, the manufacturer will sell the vehicle completely electrified in 2024 and above.

Previously, Lexus had also released a GX teaser featuring the front of the main lights that looked sharper and sporty. From the front, it has also shown the impression of rigidity in GX.

Lexus will release the LBX SUV which will launch early on June 5. Lexus LBX is said to be a distant brother of Toyota Yaris Cross, for carrying the B-SUV segment with a compact design.
