Raditya Dika Ngeband With Princess Amadea On Project Timun Jelita

JAKARTA - Writer, actor, comic and director Raditya Dika is now exploring more about the musicality side. Most recently, he created a group with the name Timun Jelita.

In this project he collaborated with a young singer who has a soft voice, Mutiara Amadea. Introduced in mid-November, they have introduced four songs on YouTube and other music streaming platforms.

Carrying pop music with a light jazz touch became the character that this duo highlighted. Of the four songs, namely If You Are With You, Self-aware, Not Smart People And Also The Two of them carry lyrics about teenage romance.

Not only focusing as a music group, Timun Jelita is actually part of a novel project of the same name. The songs released will have something to do with the characters and storylines in the book.

Cucumun Jelita herself tells the story of Timun, a 40-year-old man who works as a freelance accountant. He began to question the direction of his life since his father died. He also inherited an old guitar from his father.

Wanting to return to music, Timun faced various fears, especially when he was no longer young. Timun finally invited his cousin, Jelita, who was still studying to band together. The project of Timun Jelita was born whose songs have been liked a lot in cyberspace.
