Robbie Williams' Support For Oasis Regarding Dynamic Pricing Controversy

JAKARTA - Robbie Williams expressed her support for Noel and Liam Gallagher, amid criticism over the implementation of dynamic pricing for next year's Oasis reunion tour ticket.

In an interview with The Face published in early December, the former Take That personnel was asked by the interviewer, Craig McLaren regarding the implementation of dynamic pricing, which became controversial after the sale of Oasis concert tickets.

Williams believes the implementation of dynamic pricing has made ticket prices much higher, unknown to Noel and Liam before.

"By the way, I've never sat in a meeting 'How much is the ticket price?' And I don't believe Oasis didn't do it either," Robbie Williams said, citing NME, Thursday, December 12.

"I don't believe Oasis knows. Liam clearly doesn't know how big this is the ticket price," he continued.

Williams himself only learned how dynamic pricing works, after becoming a controversy among music lovers.

"I only know about dynamic pricing because of Oasis," he said.

Williams believes that the hard reaction to the system has taught the music industry that viewers can't accept nonsense.

"It's about that dynamic price, it even makes me say: 'Come on, I have to attend some kind of meeting.' Or just say: 'Don't let that happen!'

Williams himself was let down, when his 2006 tour ticket price soared due to brokers. It was even said that the broker managed to buy a luxury house, after tricking his fans.

"I don't know what to do, how to fix it, how to stop being greedy, how to find out your self-worth without blackmailing people," he continued.

On the other hand, Williams admits he likes Liam's way of dealing with dynamic pricing controversy, saying 'set'.

"I would never say that. I can't, but Liam said it. That's why you are you, and that's brilliant," said Robbie Williams.
