JAKARTA - Paul McCartney recalled his admiration when Guns N Roses covered his hit song with Wings, Live & Let Die, a 1973 release.
The song was written for the James Bond film of the same title before being covered by the legendary 80s rocker two decades later and appeared on their 1991 album Use Your Illusion I.
McCartney even admitted that he was surprised that the cover song was quite successful, so it was misinterpreted as the original song Guns N 'Roses and not one of his songs.
Speaking on his A Life In Lyrics podcast, McCartney said: 'I think it's actually pretty good. I'm even more amazed that they actually did it, this young American band.
