These Are The Rows Of International Artists Who Support The Arms Of The Israel-Palestinian Conflict

JAKARTA - Drake and Jennifer Lopez are the latest artists to sign an open letter calling for a ceasefire in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Adam Lambert also joined them in adding his signature to the Artist's 4Ceasefire letter, which asked US President Joe Biden and Congress to push for a decision to "end the bombing in Gaza", with the aim of securing the "safety of the release of hostages".

On October 30, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a news conference that Israel would never agree to a ceasefire because it meant handing over to Hamas, surrendering to terrorism, surrendering to barbarism [via Sky News].

He compared the ceasefire call after October 7 with calls to the US to agree to a ceasefire after the 9/11 attacks.

So far, the open letter has been signed by dozens of well-known names from various entertainment worlds.

Apart from Drake, JLO and Adam Lambert, the names that supported the ceasefire included pop star Dua Lipa, Michael Stipe of RUM, Killer Mike, and Caroline Polachek.

Others from the music industry include Macklemore, Kaytranada,▁alternatifté Hynes, Vic Mensa, Tommy Genesis, Miguel, Aminé, and A$AP Nast.

"We believe all life is sacred, regardless of religion or ethnicity and we condemn the killing of Palestinian and Israeli civilians," the letter reads, via Pitchfork.
