Geri Halliwell Speaks Up About Opportunities For Full Spice Girls Reunion

JAKARTA - Following rumors about the 30th anniversary of the Spice Girls, Geri Halliwell opens up opportunities for the full reunion of the girl group.

Halliwell also known as Ginger Spice spoke as part of an interview with Entertainment Tonight when he recalled his time with the iconic girl group.

He explained speculation that they would reunite to celebrate three decades of achievement.

Unfortunately for fans, the discussion led the former pop star to dampen the possibility of a full reunion, as he insisted that even though he recalled his time in the group with fond memories, he is now fully focused on other projects Wrote children's books.

"For me, Spice Girls belong to the whole world I'm very proud of it and I'm happy with the girls," she started (via The News).

"But I think, when I get involved with something any project is like a kid I want to give 150 percent for that," he added, explaining that he is currently developing a character for his debut children's book calledore Frost.

Although he seems reluctant to promise hope for a massive reunion with fellow Victoria Beckham members Melanie C, Mel B, and Emma Bunton in the near future, Halliwell said that the prospect of a reunion at another time is still wide open.

There will be a time when other girls get together and it will be amazing and I always like it we have fun, she said. If Spice Girls are Disney, total Frost is Pixar. It's an evolution.

Rumors about the Spice Girl reunion have been circulating for months, precisely because 2023 marks 30 years since the group first formed.

In May, members also attracted fans' interest after they hinted that a mystery project was being worked on, featuring the five original members.

At the time, Scary Spice (aka Mel B) revealed that the group was making a final touch on the new project, and it would be something fans would love.

"We plan to issue a statement. What is it, I can't say it now because we have just finished refining what we will do together, the five of us, but it will be something the fans really like," he told the publication.
