Ariani's Daughter Qualifies For AGT Final, Simon Cowell Uploads Video Of Performing U2 Song: My Favorite Live Show Appearance

JAKARTA - One of the judges of America's Got Talent (AGT)2023, Simon Cowell re-uploaded Putri Ariani's appearance while singing the song I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For from U2 on his Instagram account shortly after the musician from Indonesia qualified for the final.

Not many appearances of AGT contestants Simon re-uploaded on his social media accounts, and Princess Ariani's appearance was one of the uploads.

Simon expressed his admiration for Princess Ariani. The British music producer even called the appearance one of his favorites.

"Really, this is one of my favorite live show performances," Simon Cowell wrote in his uploaded caption, seen Thursday, September 7.

Simon Cowell also praised Princess Ariani as a person and singer.

"Putri Ariani is an amazing person with extraordinary talent," she said.

Ariani's daughter did not miss commenting on the man's upload that had given her the golden ticket.

"Thank you Simon for the support," wrote Princess Ariani.

Previously, Simon Cowell revealed an interesting story behind the selection of the song Putri performed during the semifinals.

He said that U2 as the band that performed the original version of the song I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, had allowed Putri to perform the song, after seeing the appearance of the young singer during the audition.

"I understand, there are many bands that do not give permission for the song. However, they (U2) allow this song to be sung by Putri, because they see the audition," said Simon Cowell.
