Attract Indorock Musicians In The Netherlands, G-Pluck Prepares Special Appearance At Tong Festival 2023

JAKARTA - The Beatles tribute music group, G-Pluck, is ready to enliven the biggest annual art and cultural festival in the Netherlands, Tong Tong Festival 2023, with two special appearances on September 7-8 in the Malivield area, The Hague.

The music unit consisting of Awan Garnida (bass), Gilang Pramudya (guitar/vocals), Fery Gustian (guitar/vocals), Beni Pratama (drums), and strengthened by Aufa Kantadiredja (keyboards/vocals) will not only bring popular numbers of The Beatles, but also prepare a collaboration with a number of legendary musicians of the Windmill Country.

"We will present the Beatles' best songs to greet the public of The Hague. Not only that, we will also perform a number of Indorock's best songs by cooperating with several legendary Dutch musicians of Indonesian descent," Awan told Antara, Tuesday.

A number of Indorock musicians who will join the G-Pluck carriage at the Tong Tong Festival this time are Eddy Chatelin and Hans Bax. Both are known to the public as vocalists and guitarists of the band Indorock The Hurricane Rollers who have been active in the country of Tulip since the early 60s and have continued to music until this millisecond.

Indorock is a term referring to rock n 'roll music played by Indonesian people who live in the Netherlands about a decade after Indonesia's independence. The form of music fusion includes Indonesian rock n' roll, keroncong, hawaiian, and gamelan.
