Replace Katharine Fire, Dira Sugandi's Appearance Successfully Pukau Spectators

JAKARTA - The sudden absence of Katharine fire at the David Foster and Friends concert in Indonesia, caused concern. However, Katharine's absence was overcome.

In a private concert at Sentul International Convention Center on the evening of Friday, August 11, Dira Sugandi was appointed to replace the void caused by Katharineika's sudden return to the United States.

David Foster when inviting Dira Sugandi on stage, called the 44-year-old soloist one of his best friends who is also one of the great singers in Indonesia.

"Furthermore, I will invite one of my friends. He is a great singer and we have performed together before," said David Foster.

The 16 Grammys winner did not appear to be at least worried about choosing Dira Sugandi to fill the void left by his wife. In fact, Dira's appearance without sufficient preparation.

"We contacted him a day ago and asked him to sing here, and he accepted it without hesitation. This is him, Dira Sugandi," he added.

With a red dress, Dira Sugandi went on stage and sang Celine Dion's Power of Love song. He managed to amaze the audience with the power of voice and vocal engineering that there was no doubt about.

After finishing singing one song, Dira Sugandi returned to the back stage.

"Don't worry, Dira will come back with another song," said David Foster to the applause.

Towards the end of the concert, Dira Sugandi returned to the stage to sing the soundtrack for the Bodyguard film I Will Always Love You, which was popularized by Diva Amerika Serikat, Whitney Houston.

In the closing appearance, Dira Sugandi and Loren Allred sang a hit song from Cheryl Lynn entitled Got to be Real.
